Just wanted to draw this to celebrate the new episode coming soon. Discord has always been my favourite villain, so when I heard they were bringing him back, I was over the moon!
I haven't drawn Discord in a while either, so hey, what the heck. Here he is in all his chaotic glory. Fluttershy took me a while to draw. I just... can't draw ponies. >__<

I like Discord as he is. In my opinion, I think he'll probably end up staying true to his nature of being chaotic, but perhaps work as a counter-balance to harmony. that way, everyone's happy. I'm just really excited for the new episode! ^-^

Yeah, See i can imagine something like, Celestia keeps order, but Discord stirs up things a little to make life more interesting. After all, 'All Work and No Play makes Jack a dull boy' as they say!
See, there are fan speculations that Discord may in fact be Starswirl the Bearded. I'm curious to see if these are true or not. But I still prefer Discord the way he is. He's so fun to draw because he's all mixed up and awesome. xD

I hope he's NOT Starswirl... not even related to him remotely. I don't want Discord to even be related to him NOR turned into a pony. Why can't they just keep his draconequus self but seal his powers? I do agree with you, Discord as he is, is BEST Discord.
...personally though, I'm not watching the episode ;w; I refuse to watch it and let those worst horrors prove true.
