Very funny, but I think Jacob just got short straw in ME3, heck they took him off the list for FemShep to romance. How much worse can you get cut from the team!

I think Bioware took many feedback, and they realized, that Jacob is not a real favorite^_^
so they mad a very bad fan-Support

I don't get why every one gives Jacob a hard time. I would much rather have Jacob than James. Jacob is an intelligent, responsible, and committed solder who respects his commanding officer and acts like a professional solder even when off duty. James on the other hand acts like frat boy straight out of college and spends his time cracking jokes, gambling, and making some comments that could be easily be filed as sexual harassment towards Shepard his commanding officer.
Who would you rather have, the experienced, mature, professional solder who could probably command the Normandy nearly as Shepard or the dumb frat boy?

Only for one Point:
Jacob is boring next to all the other chars in ME2.
This is one reason. It's not his fault, it's Biowares fault.
next to all other squad mates he looks so less and boring. And I'm not the only one who thinks this, he have so less fans, that bioware decited to put his Romance with Shep out of the third game.
It's a Joke and Jacob is a welcome Victim.
Right James is w weird char. They put them in game that you have a soldier. But all human Squad mates are a bit boring. Kaian too. I know he have many fans. But after market researches they found out, that the 3 human squad mates are the most bronng next to all other chars

I would still rather have Jacob, he was a solder. You give him an order and he will get it done, true he has his morales and he does come across as a bit bland, but he is still a discipline dedicated solder.
James on the other hand is a less funny version of Joker who can walk. It's kind of liking getting rid of a member of Seal Team Six and replacing him with a cast member of the Jersey Shore.
But each to his own.
