The lovely Jessica Rabbit, made in Illustrator CS. I tried to keep it as simple and clean as possible to try and preserve a classy look. Tell me what you think

looks great, style reminds me of cell shading technique. i think they should cell shade the whole movie and re-release it.

this is awesome... personally I like it better than the Holli Would one... and what a great idea.. Classic Cartoon Beauties...
I have some input.. there a bit nitpicky, but here goes... I think her botton lip is a nit too thin and the "shine" the one on her chest flows nicely... but the other two looks slightly squarish... other than that... aces!
Ideas.. Betty Boop... she may have been the one to start it all... definitely black and white though... classic Betty at her best.

the shine.. there's this program... ithink it's called Pixarra Sketchbook.. or something.. and their star tools are incredible... I don't know how it would look agains your pic.. they may clash.. because your style, for these anyway, seem like.. what's the word... vector... vector-ish <<< better and the shine might be a bit much....
I dunno... maybe you could DL the free version and try it out.. You can't save on the free version (anymore) but I'm sure there's a hack code floating around on the internet somewhere...

Well..being in Graphic Design..and having the whole of the college classes critique your work..you have to get used to being able to take comments. People see it as a bad thing, when it's just about improving yourself as an artist. Yeah I primarilly work in vectors, and I will give that program a shot, even if it's just to look how they do the shapes. Rock on man, music is for the people, even the poor ones like myself. Also goes for expensive graphics programs *cough*

Thanks so much ^.^ Yeah thats what makes Jessica here special..they proportioned her for an original concept which I think was genius..we all remember her ^.~ I'm taking suggestions on classic cartoon beauties if you have any ideas ^.^ Welcome back from finals by the way!
