From Volume 2 of APH-Manga: "In the end, Belarus then became a little sister-figure for America, which tired him a lot. And so they were wondering how to get rid of her as well"But I still somehow feel it would make nice pairing.
Ow, there are so many things I would like to write about... First of all: why on Eurovision-finals in Poland we didn't choose Belarus? It would make sense, we would then get 10 points from Belarus!! grrr... I doubt Eurovision will ever take place in Warsaw
It's probably my last drawing. Soon I'm going away to study abroad and I won't be able to take my tablet and I cannot imagine drawing with my finger via notebook.

I don't have the book at the moment but I recall reading the second volume like three weeks ago. As I've read other translation it was put in other words and had a bit different meaning. All at all it was at the end of Belarus part, something that after everybody left Soviet Union she teamed a little bit with America up, Russia of course didn't like the fact, so she returned to Russia and what Russia did not like either. Have you found it?

Konkretnie ten wytrzesz mam na myśli. Jakoś wcześniej nie mogłam sobie wyobrazić Białorusi z takim zaskoczeniem w oczach.
Jakby się bliżej przyjrzeć to faktycznie nieco jej wzrok uciekł, ale nie rzuca się to w oczy. Gdybyś o tym nie napisała, to bym nie zauważyła.

i too love this pairing. i don't remember that part from the manga (i don't know if the second volume of the manga's been translated yet, actually.) but, i do know that current belarus-america foreign relations are pretty much like this:
america: hey, belarus!
belarus: die!
america: she digs me!

It was somewhere in second volume. Belarus do have rocky relationship with most of the countries, I guess. I read that the end of communism were for them quite a shock.
Anyway, being the women among few in APH must be a tough thing.
