people who call themselves 'emo' usually are not true 'emos' in my opinion.
i love the style. but i hate it when people dress like that just to be 'emo'.
you should just go your own way, and maybe you'll end up as an emo. if that's you, then that's great.
if not, then please go somewhere else.

That was rather emo wasn't it? But then again that's one of the things I adore about that particular stereotype. Silent and observant, they always have bits and pieces of wisdom to share with the world if we just listen. Emos reminds me of cool breezes knocking against our window.
You don't always notice, but when they get your attention you can't help but listen well...

I find preps to be perky, yet sad creatures. Most of the time they judge you by not getting to know you, which is the worst thing you can do to a person. Assume before you actually get to know them.
I've had several preps do that to me before and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Then again, I have several prep friends that are rather goofy and funky. I guess it depends on the person instead of the actual stereotype

emo's overreacting to every little detail in life, wether your sisters marriage reminds you of nothing but your own failed relationship or whether the death of your dog is gods way of hating you.
get over it, everyone in the world feels these pains, everyone gets hurt, everyone live the same lives, but its the weak that dwell on the pain, and the strong that move on.

anyways, everyone is emo at some stage, but those people are just sad for a while, i believe the ones you call should call emo are the ones who live in it, thrive off it.
