There comes a time where Evil must invade the good and the Good must purify the evil, and then there are times when the world must accept a Shade of Grey.Hio again,
Another piece for 's "Opposites" contest. I blame her for my bout of creativity. This prompt, or the idea of opposites has gotten me very enthuasied.
So yeah.
I know, I was lazy and used the same background, so sue me.

I am part of the critique group that `memod started 
First let me say that this is a wonderful concept! I do see a few things that could really make this a great piece though.
It looks as though the two girls are not completely part of the image, and this could be improved upon by adding some highlights where the light would be hitting their arms and such. Especially since the angels wings on the left are so bright, it makes me wonder why the sun behind her is so dull? It should be more realistic and she should have some highlights on arms/hair etc.
The wings don't quite appear to be attached at the proper places, and look to be simply placed behind the figures, using the edit > free transform tool and/or warp tool (if you have CS3) would help greatly with the position of the wings and moving them around to get a better angle and placement.
Lastly, there are some areas of the photos of the girls like the arms that do not look like the background photo they were originally in was taken out all the way because there is still bits of the old photo around their arms. You can clean the lines up easily by using the eraser.
Overall great concept - just a few things and this would be even better!

I'm loving this picture. It reminds me of what I'm going to be for Halloween this year; the idea of opposites/b&w, except merged into one costume. But yea, I love the backgrounds and the swirly black and white things (do they have a name? lol) Good job ^.^

I'm not really sure what to call my costume : P I'm gonna be like a good/evil faerie. What I'm going to wear is a black dress w/ a white corset over it, some black boots, and some white tights. And I'm going to have some feather wings, one wing black and one wing white : )

Well in a word...it is HARD to unless you have a tablet of some sort. Do you think you might be able to invest in cheap Wacom off ebay or something? That is the way it solved my problem of the lines, but before then I just used the eraser or the extracting eraser through extract. It is so hard to explain it here though....but I hope that helps some.

My sis has a Wacom tablet, i just dont tend to use it, i work with a drafting mouse. I will see if I can borrow my sis's tablet next time. Thanks for all the advice dear.

good idea, - alltough i think the effekts could be a little better, -
i think you gotta work on you lighting, color and focal points, - also there is alot of the stuff there is very pixelatet
