Description
The start of something big: Sonic 3. Incase you don't know, this a remake of this short scene [link]I may do more scenes from this game later on.
Done in Photoshop CS2
Edit: Added lighting effects, fixed some errors.

In the opening cutscen of Sonic 3, Sonic and Tails we're heading to Angel Island. Sonic still had the Emeralds with him that time and went ahead to the island by going Super.

It still is in this picture, but the metallic look that was given to the plane makes the color harder to see. You just have to look closer.

This is a bit late, but before the redesign, the eyes of super mode went through multiple changes. In its first appearance, the eyes were black. In this game it was changed to green for whatever reason.

Some people say Super Sonic ripped off the Super Saiyan effect from "Dragon Ball Z."

they were actually "released" if you will, around the same time (same year) and stuff like that takes at least MONTHS to plan, so... super sonic is its own idea compared to super sayins, although on another matter... chaos emeralds WERE based off of the dragon balls, just like to.. ya know throw that out there
