The story goes that the Satyrs were once created by one of two forest gods, the god of creation. His brother, the god of destruction became jealous.
He wanted to show his brother that he too was capable of creation and sought to bring life to satyrs of his own. He could not, however much he tried, bring life to creatures. Furious by this, he captured a few of the satyrs and twisted their essence. The sole purpose was that of destruction, seeking to bring an end to what the other brother had created.
These hunters roam the woods in search for their counterpart, seeking the blood of their once so long ago brethren.
