In case you didn't know, I've always been intrigued by ancient Egyptian lore and deities, and around 2 years ago I decided to base the names of my Flight Rising dragons on ancient Egyptian deities and humans. My entire clan is desert-themed because I love hot, dry weather and sandy deserts. With my clan growing exponentially, I started to run out of names to use so I had to look up more. Soon everything started getting out of hand when I became literally obsessed with deserts and ancient Egypt that I started reading the Book of Dead and downloaded two full volumes of a hieroglyphic dictionary. Now I'm suddenly writing down as many deities as I can find, their role, appearance, minor details and so on. I have around 400 already, just approximately 1100 to go haha
Well, one of the most interesting ones I've found is Ahti. She's the representation of evil and darkness, and is portrayed by a hippo and a wasp, both animals that Egyptians feared and worshipped because of their aggressive behaviour. Of course, I'm a complete fool for insects, especially hymenoptera so Ahti is definitely one of my favourite deities.

And mY ANPU, I am still having troubles with painting and colouring but I think I'm getting somewhere
