- Born to Solarstorm and Shiningwing alongside with her siblings Waspkit, Owlkit and Poppykit.
- Shiningwing leaves family for Splashleaf, Daykit never found out.

- Became apprentice alongside with her siblings, Wasppaw, Poppypaw and Owlpaw, also being called Daypaw and given Reedfrost as a mentor.
- Caught Greencough but managed to heal.
- Spoke to Burningkit/paw for the first time, finding out Shiningwing left Solarstorm for Splashleaf and was meeting her half-brother. Daypaw did not mind at all.
- Met Patchpaw who moved from Cloudclan and became best friends.

She seemed kind enough, but didn't seem to have any sense of personal space. "What about you?" The day was cloudy and the air thick, making Emberpaw feel hot an uncomfortable as he woke from his nap, having been on the dawn patrol earlier and having wanted to catch up on sleep. He was unsure if Acornspark had planned anything for the rest of the day- by the looks of it it was now about sunhigh- so Emberpaw, at least for the meanwhile, was free to do as he pleased he supposed. And so he sat up in his nest, slowly and groggily, and began self consciously licking his fur, not wanting to look worse than he normally did what with his patchy fur.

Returning from her 'mentoring' for Patchpaw, Daypaw lazily yawned, making her way in the Apprentice den and glomping her nest. "Ahh nest, sweet nest~" She purred, rolling around in it. She blinked and stared at the patched brown apprentice just grooming himself. The speckled ginger she-cat stared and just remembered who he was. Her 'half-brother'. She never to interacted with him, not that she could remember. She shook her fur and smile, waddling over to him. "Eyo dere.~" She smiled, waving.

Reedfrost was waiting by the camp entrance, watching the sun rise in the sky. His apprentice was just waking up and he was waiting for her so he could take her out. The weather was nice and clear, and the air was surprisingly warm. He took a deep breath and started to plan what they would do. He wasn't sure if she had gone out by herself quite yet so he would ask her once he saw her.

Already awake, Daypaw [ironically] stared at the day sky coming up. She purred and spotted her mentor, running over to him. "Hey Reedfrost!" She smiled.

Reedfrost chuckled. "Ready to go out? I'm thinking that we should go hunting, since the pile looks a little low." He smiled. "Just remember to watch your step, there has been an abundance of mud lately."

"I'm ready when you are, sir! And got it!" Laughing, she puffed her chest out with pride, proudly walking beside her mentor.

Reedfrost laughed and gave her a small salute with his paw as they walk. He decides to stop while they are in a small stretch of land, dotted with patches of vegetation. He lifts his nose and sniffs, scenting a mouse, but not saying anything. "Take a whiff. Do you smell anything?"

Hailpaw stifled a yawn padding towards the river. The watery grave let out gurgles and longing for a cat to feed on. If it was alive. To the tall dark furred tom, it seemed alive, slowly creeping along the banks, and letting out gurgles and roars. His muscles rippled beneath his fur, the soggy grass felt awkward beneath his paw pads.

The moggy apprentice, Daypaw leaped her way to the river that was close to the borders. She was so happy to finally be an apprentice, she can partly roam freely, and she can finally do as she pleases. Seeing the river, she purred, and went to get a sip of water. Not noticing the larger apprentice, she placed herself in the shallow part of the river.

Hailpaw whipped around, "Hey!" he scampered towards her, "That's dangerous!" he padded towards her, the cold water lapping his feet, and fell in the water. He came back up coughing up the liquid, and shivered. "See what you did.." he grumbled.

She narrowed her eyes and twitched. "Ay, I didn't invite you in here, you came in yourself~" She gave an unamused shrug, and hopped out of the water, shaking her orange fur.

His throat grumbled lightly, "Oh yeah?" He splashed more water at her, a smirk stretching across his face. "Pft."

"Hey!" She pouted, and made some distance between them. "You wanna act all cool 1 second and change to a playful, mood swings like a girl." She began to groom her fur that poofed.

He rolled his eyes, "It's just in my nature, one half from my brother Dragonfire, other half from Shadeblossom. Weird eh?" His bushy tail poofed up as he padded up.

"Makes sense~" She nodded, then began to shiver. "I didn't stay that long in the water did I.." She muttering, curling into a ball. "And you're Hailpaw I'm guessing? Palepaw's uncle?" She blinked. She knew Palepaw her who life in the nursery, so she would've guessed her relatives.
