I feel kinda icky about this.
I mean, i wanted to practice a little perspective.... so i thought about using some sort of reference... but i think it looks a little to much like the original stock image (except for the face lol i completely changed it 
).i went all "Perfectionist Mode" on it and measured stuff like the legs, shoulders, negetive space, etc. I didn't trace but still.... is this, ya know, okay? Or am i too sensitive?

I don't know what it is about this simplistic piece but something about it really got to me. I love how clean everything is. The face is really beautiful. I'm definitely favoriting this.

I feel the same way about references, so no worries! If I feel my piece is too similar to the reference I end up just posting it in Scraps with a link to what I used or not post it at all out of shame! lol
But this is a great b/w piece. The usage of white space is a welcome contrast to the heavy black. And he's just so handsome

u've got real good black and white works. I really admire the strength & dominance that it displays. But I think its pretty sad that not much people really know how to appreciate the beauty in black and white. But donβt worry, u have my support!

Well, I don't know what the stock image is, but this is an awesome pick. As for measureing, everyone needs to use references now and then. That's the whole point of having stock images. The final product here is very cool--looks like something out of Death Note
