Description I know the rock is the most dominant part of this picture, but it's called lost in the fog cause of the forest you (hopefully) can make out along the horizon line. My second attempt at this kind of stuff, and still having loads of fun doing it... I'm still not doing these with a theme in mind; I'm basically just creating whatever happens with what I see in front of me. I'd like to however do some with themes perhaps, and try and incorporate people or other characters into them.

much appreciated I had something so different in mind when I started that but hey no argument here on things falling into place on their own. do you skate? haha, odd question I know, but I saw your "I hate pebbles" picture in your gallery, that's great!

yeah, i skate...those little bastards have been the bane of my existence.

what were you originally going for? i just love the color composition, it's just really wonderful...i can just imagine a full moon illuminating the entire landscape, while i'm standing on the rock trying to find my way...trying to see past the fog...hah, i'm a dork. but it's really great what you did with it.

Actually, the idea was originally to have somebody on that rock, I found almost the exact pose I wanted for it too, but the perspective was all off, it just looked out of place. I'm not very good at putting actual *people* into these pictures yet, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong... I wanted somebody kind of curled up laying on the rock like as though they were lost and tired...

Also I did this picture backwards, I was gonna mention in the description but I forgot haha, I gotta start doing these like a painter would... do the background (in this case the sky etc), then work to the foreground, not the other way around which is what I did.. because I started off with that rock and a few more like it to make a base for a cliff... which turned into a forest... so ya.. it went all funky.

All the snows melting here, almost able to skate... cept for those DAMN pebbles.

Woah...That's really cool! I wish I had the technological advancements to achieve a work of art like that...

Yummo! I must bite the picture...

Ya know, I really wish I had the untechnological skill to draw with a pencil like yourself.. I think that's the more craftier of the two! Fanks muchly for the comment Oh, and my pictures bite back.
