This was done in photoshop not inkscape. it was just the only option available. >_>

Photoshop is raster based, not vector based. >_>

You should probably just put this in tutorials > drawing and painting > Photoshop.

@snigom: Anyway, you can always vector-ify that default brush, then you'd essentially be getting the same effect, albeit with a true vector outcome.

BTW, i never knew about that brush. I'll be sure to use it next time a vector, thanks!

That is a neat looking eye, but how is this vector? The only thing that gives it away is the 'pixelization.' Vectors do not pixelate...ever.

What program were you using?

<--Not trying to be overly critical, I do think that eye is amazing!

i used photoshop cs2. its listed under "inkscape" cause its the only vector category i could find. and the only part that isn't vectored are the centers of the eye, i used a default brush.

OOOooh! Ok! That makes a certain amount of sense.

I guess I was hoping it was done in Illustrator. I'd love to be able to do this in that program.

Be that as it may, I think I will use this technique for future eye coloring in my art. Thanks!
