Description

This is my fourth and final pic for Pride 2020, Blaze the Cat.

Blaze is a charcter from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, who first appeared in the game Sonic Rush in 2005 and started making occasional appearances in the Archie comics shortly after. I always loved Blaze, but I never included her in Eon's Comic, because by the time she made her gaming debut, I was actively trying to move my comic away from its Sonic fanfic roots. However, when I decided to go back and remaster Eon's Comic, which eventually turned into me straight up remaking it as Eon's World Vol. 1, I took the opportunity to finally include her. She had a story arc across seasons 1 and 2 that recently wrapped up, but she will be returning in season 4 (as well as in Chapter 11 of Eon's World Vol. 2).

Anyway, in my headcanon, Blaze is bisexual, which makes her bisexual in Eon's World, and that is why she is here representing bisexual people for Pride, because more queer representation of all kinds is needed in all fiction and I am never stopping!

This has been fun and I will be back for Pride 2021 with another batch of four queer characters who feature in Eon's World. I already know who three of them are going to be.
