Description
Finally the color version is done. This picture felt very different to the previous ones due to the special light and it's killed of every last one of my nerves. xD;;;Now I'm looking forward to a few days rest from painting anything pink. Seriously, I've felt colorblinded while working on some parts and areas. x___X

haha, so the unfortunate frog in the middle is the teacher of the other frogs all around the scene? I feel so sorry for it... luckily not all the frog pupils are paying attention to the "lesson" haha. Like the group in the right corner, making fun of the poor turtle.

He is also the lucky(?) father of the bunch. When his wife broke the news to him about becoming a father [link] he felt slightly overtaxed (can't blame him), but he is doing his best to give them the best possible start in life!

Your works are nice and colorful enough, but this humor adds some bonus points. I'm sure Rocky wouldn't agree with me, though. Just like the suffering croc & elephant pair on the other picture probably don't find their situation funny any bit. ^^

If only more artists were like you. It's happened to me many times that I found some paintings on DA that looked nice when you see them for the first time, but became kinda boring when you look at them again.

Haha, yeah. Many of the animals in my siesta-pictures have gotten names now. I was able to find a more suitable colored plush piece some time ago, so I might remake the plush, since the first version was way too pale.

Once finished, I thought I'd never draw another frog this year. But they are so easy to scribble, so I doubt that will last for very long, once I get around to draw again. xD

Now I think I've found a style that suits me (next to realism) and I want to stick to doing my own art, since it also feels a lot more rewarding.

Yeah, I think that is one of my trademarks. Usually I have an idea with someone in a funny situation and then I start out with drawing the character(s) involved in it and then just add the rest along the way. xD I never know what the picture will turn out like in the end, since I try to keep the planning at a minimum. :3
