Hi, it's nice to meet you.This is me.
I feel quite a lot stupid uploading this because I normally hate photographs of myself. I have "issues" with cameras of any kind. However, this photo I like.
There's been some faffing around in Photoshop with colour adjustment and saturation levels because I just cannot leave things alone. I seriously can't.
So yeah. Uhh. Thank you for looking.

Though, it is still good to see signs of life from your part. But since this is an update, now I am a bit puzzled because I can't remember for the life of me what the original looked like.

I know, it's been a while aye?
Was going back through some old work and thought I'd apply everything I've learned in my hiatus from deviantart to a few pieces to get back into the artistic swing of things.
Minor adjustments to this piece, tweaked the colour, saturation and contrast to liven it up a little. Probably still need to tone down the lips, they're rather glaringly red.

Life's good. Still on hiatus, drawing rarely, haven't used my tablet in years xD
I am checking out dA daily, though, and that gives me inspiration. Though I don't write 30-minute essays on the pieces I like anymore. It isn't just me who doesn't has time, but artists out there everywhere are all famous enough as they are, and don't have time to read long comments. Also, I don't like the attention given to "critiques", so I won't just put myself out there in display to the public eye for writing an in-depth comment, which was meant anyway for the artist and their eyes only.
I guess that means I have become just your regular lurker xD But, honestly, even though I see many good pieces on a daily basis, I rarely see anything that has the level of detail and magnificence that causes me a desire to not just look and be awed, but also a need to appreciate and study all the minor, subtle details. The small things that have an almost subconscious effect on the piece. The details which were the core of all my book-length comments from back then. I guess things change with time, the good artists I used to follow don't post anymore, like you
Hahaha, now that I think about it, it sounds like I have no personal life outside of art-spectator! I surely do, but it would be extremely bizarre to bring it out now in a site that has never known of that side of me

Well that's possibly the most surprising compliment I've ever had but, uh, no. Not something I've ever done or been asked about and if it the opportunity ever arose I'd only do it for shitlots of money, a new computer and a Bugatti Veyron.
Expensive tastes? Not me...

Heh, I don't think modelling would be a suitable profession for me. I'm still working out what would be, there's some trial and error involved but I'm loving what I do now and want to see where I can take it.
If I had to be near other models, I'd end up doing very bad things to amuse myself. Unless I do something that's extremely mentally challenging I'm liable to court disaster with complex practical jokes and deliberate misuse of stationary.

Heh, I have no problems with being a geek. It's something I'm proud of.

I love the lighting in this shot..and really nice contrast between the reds in your hair & lips and blue & green tints in your glasses and your eyes...and that ever so slight smirk...engaging....as beautiful as your work...I'd be very disappointed if I didn't see a vector of this!
