Description It's been way too long since I drew a dragon. I forgot how much fun they are! Another commission example. I was more careful with the lighting. Still think I could have done better. This was so much fun! I loved playing with the lighting. :3 Kind of a boring dragon. I'm definitely drawing more dragons. This was a blast, and quiet relaxing actually.

This is my first critique, so bear with me as I am still trying to figure this out. To start off, i like the overall design of the work. I like the contrasting red in the foreground and and the blue in the background. I also like how you left the dragon in a sketchy format instead of a final ink. Some things I think you could work on: I wasn't sure, but it appears that both nostrils are on the same side of the head, which from the angle you are doing, doesn't make sense and looks wrong. Also, the line going along the chest spines down the middle needs to stay closer to the outside line to give the appearance that it is going down the center of his chest instead of glancing off to the side. One last comment would be that his neck seems to get smaller in diameter as you look down it. Necks usually either stay the same size as you go down or gradually increase in size. I think you did a very good job again on the coloring and kept consistent with the style you were trying to convey and also did a wonderful job on the whole design of the dragon. All you really need to work on is remembering where the center line is while you draw, and the neck. Besides those few things, job well done.

I find feedback to be a very valuable thing when speaking of art.  I enjoy having my art critiqued just as much as critiquing other peoples work.  Since I don't have premium membership however, I can't formally ask for a critique and getting people to actually comment on my own art is hard enough as it is.  I'm just saying all this to tell you that if you ever have any other works that you want a critique on, just send them over to me; I'll be glad to do it

-sorry for how late this is-
