This looks like an awesome tutorial. I just started with Photoshop, but it seems to be pretty simple to follow from what I've seen of it. I think I'll give this a go. I'll definitely share my outcome with you if I can come up with anything that I feel is good enough to upload on here.

I'll try and follow it as best as I can. If worse comes to worst I'll just have to try it again at a later date, when I'm more experienced with PS. It really is a wonderful tutorial though. You have some pretty inspirational work, and I think it's nice that you're making tutorials for other graphic artists to follow.

Take your time, Power, PS is a great tool to work with, but it'll take a while to get comfortable with it
It took me like 2 years to get used to that software haha

Yeah. I wouldn't be where I am now if not for the awesome artists on the graphics forums that I frequently attend. Critique has been the biggest thing that has helped me get better.

I couldn't follow every step in your tutorial since I didn't know how to do some of them (after all, I am a beginner with PS) but I did do some of the things from your tutorial. I tried my best to follow your lighting methods and whatnot. I also incorporated some of the style I used when I made signatures in GIMP.

There's only one thing I would like to ask you a question about. What did you mean when you said to add a "gradient blur" in your tutorial? I tried asking around on some graphics forums but people didn't know what it meant and assumed it meant Gaussian Blur.
