Personality

Bast is a little spirit of playfulness and endless mischief. She loves pushing people's buttons and seeing how they react - and the bigger the reaction, the better! She doesn't seem to understand the difference between a cheerful yell and an enraged one, rather interpering both as playing. Luckily, she's relatively easy to distract from her shenanigans simply by offering some actual playtime, and if you humor her for long enough, you just might find yourself at the receiving end of headbumps and loud purring. When she's not up to mischief, she's a rather chill cat. While she's not huge on being a lap cat, she does seem to like people, seeking to share space with them and coming to rub against them for pets. If she offers her belly, however, there's always a risk that it's a trap.

Relationship with Kelm

Kelm may insist that he doesn't have a cat, but Bast seems to have decided otherwise, having taken to following him around and living in his room. It's obvious that Bast loves antagonizing Kelm, as she never misses a chance to annoy him, whether it was by smacking his drink off the table or standing in front of the TV while he's trying to watch it.

- Her name is - unsurprisingly - short from bastard.

- Kelm keeps throwing Bast out of his room, but somehow the cat always finds its way back in. Bast thinks it's a fun game!

- Bast can turn her body into smoke, but her skull always stays corporeal.

- When she's corporeal, it feels like she has normal, fine fur covering her ghosty body, but she doesn't shed.

- Her whiskers are cartilage-like, capable of moving around and emoting.

- Her eye orb can switch sides depending on where she's looking. She 'blinks' by making the orb disappear.

- For a small cat, she has a surprisingly loud meow and her purr is like a sports car engine.
