Holy crap thank you. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten comments saying "I don't know what this is but it looks like incest""your OC looks like *this character*" "is that *a canon character but it's really your oc*" "what's going on in this?""who are these people?" Etc. over and over. Smdh. I say what's going on in the damn artist comments. It won't hurt to take five seconds out of your day to read.

I'm more in team anti-ellipsis-in-the-artist-comments. So much so to the point when replying I just leave "...". You know - since they had so much kindness to put so much effort into their comments, I can offer the same effort.

But this stamp explains why a bunch of them probably do leave the ellipsis artist comment in the first place - not like people will actually read in the first place.
