Description It started out as a wallpaper, but before that, it started out as a pencil drawing. My "client", my friend, Migs, the DJ, is so obsessed about the "hed kandi" art of Jason Brooks, and he would want me to do one for his gig. But then again, I'm not much of a clubber, so i just did the closest pose and clothes for my model.

there you have it.

FYI, this is not my usual style, so don't freak out yet. the pencil i used for this was really blunt, so i don't wanna post it.

Yes, as above, the hands are really very good! And that stuck me first of all... I like the general simplicity of the whole piece too... And the subtle details like the shading ^_^
One point though, I personally would put some colour on the eyes, because she looks a teeny bit lifeless as she is...

yeah, she does, right? well, i haven't chosen the right color yet. blue would suit her, but here in the philippines? only if you wear contacts. Thanks for being the ever-concerned critic!

Hmm... You're right about blue. Why not just go ahead with it? Call it artistic license
I met Chinese twins with naturally blue eyes once.

Thanks! well, honestly, since i was using a blunt pencil, I don't have an idea how to render it digitally anymore!
