Description Red 1958 Plymouth Fury, oils on canvas. Took forever to complete because of the detail on the car (about 6 months), but really enjoyed it. Sold to a guy in Spain for next to nothing but a sale nonetheless...

My goodness! Absolutely gorgeous painting! I love how well you captured the reflections in both the body and the chrome parts.

Yeah, it took a long time because I wasn't getting a lot of spare time then, but it was worth it. Sold it for 30 quid, which is shocking really, but needed the money to finish my car then (which never happened - oh, the irony...)

yeah that's really quite ironic :\ anyway, still a great piece of work and that's something that remains... (:

Cool! I love the "in your face" look to the composition. The extreme foreshortening makes for a very interesting piece. Great palette choices. The curve of the double yellow line is a great added touch. It's a really good piece of work!
