Thank you so much. Robins aren't too camera shy, as it turns out. Mockingbirds are quite easy to get close to, but Robins are a bit wary. As long as they feel safe, they'll pose for you!

Richard has quite a few photos of robins, but they generally only stay still long enough if they're in your territory, or else they get rather fidgety! He has one that watches him when he's digging - so long as our cats aren't around..

It's very cold here, about 30+ degrees F right at the moment. Our birdbath is iced over!

They show up in February here. And now there are many hundreds of them in a flock! They're wonderful, cheerful birds to see this time of year.
