Description Background is a photo of an ice pattern with a red and gold gradient map over it. Objects are all vector presets from Photoshop; I used different colors and blends.

Thank you! This was quite easy to make, too. Sometimes, the creativity just flowers like water, but mostly, it doesn't.

I know the feeling, and I really hate those times when it doesn't.
You're quite welcome!

Thank you, Lori. I like to vary my routine in artwork. Sometimes I get stuck in a rut (we all do, I guess), so I just do something completely different. Then I feel better and go back to what I usually do! I'm glad you like this one. It's the best use I could make of that ice I took pictures of.

Oh Lori, I wish you would never say, or think, that you are untalented. That is so not true, from my perspective! Your work is ALWAYS unique, interesting, done with care, and so different from anyone else's art. It's always a joy to look at! AND....you have won 2 DDs! You are doing something right, eh?

Well one DD doesn't count anymore cos that account is closed but the 2nd DD I only got cos someone recommended it Not that DA would ever acknowledge me on their own...BUT I still appreciate it I think I do alright on my manips and restorations but I can't take a picture worth a darn, I can't do vectors, I can't do fractals, I can't digitally paint, etc etc etc. I've tried a couple of the above but I just have no talent for it like you have in certain areas. But thank you for your kind words and support

I know you closed the account...but I can remember how blown away I was when I first saw that one! It just bowled me over with its beauty!

My experiments tend to be just that: experiments. I never seem to have the patience to follow through or become really good at anything. I hate that trait. The problem is, I tend to get bored easily...don't know why but I've always been like that. Maybe I've got a touch of ADHD??

LoriVintage55 In reply to desmo100 [2009-02-05 02:26:27 +0000 UTC]

Awww, thanks Jean! Well to me your experiments are always awesome! If you have ADHD, then I have it too

I'll bet that's more common than we know. When we were young, there was no such thing. We had some kids that were full of energy and got kind of naughty, but punishment by parents and/or teachers seemed to work well enough. I was always restless, and that bothered me a great deal. I just wanted to be happy doing something, and stick with it.

Well I always felt like an outcast at my schools as we moved so often and it was hard for me to make friends. And I always wanted to make friends with the wrong types of friends if you know what I mean.

I made a few 'not-the-right-kind-of-people' friends, too. At least they weren't judgemental, whereas the "right kind" often were!

Thank you so much! I was just playing around with patterns and shapes this morning, just experimenting. Usually, I throw out the experiments..they're not very good. But this one appealed to me somehow. I guess the shapes were bold, plus I like basic colors.
