Sometimes colours don't look as bright as they used to...To me, in my head, everything went grey for a bit. The drawings I was working on I couldn't colour right, it was all dull steels and browns when I wanted light and bold. I just wasn't seeing things right. But I still needed to draw, I had to paint something. So I needed a picture to fit the colours I could still work and that would represent my situaton.
And so this one came... the girl sits here and tries her hardest to stop the colour draining out her flower and world. There's more to it, but as the viewer I'll let you work it out
Drawing these helps me get my feelings out rather than lets me dwell. They're personal to share which in some ways I like and in others is rather scary.
I'm feeling better now thanks, coming out of it. Like the painting, bright horizons ^^

I wish I could draw girls with a chest- I swear I didn't mean that in a pervy way!!- All I seem to be able to draw is flat chested girls. =*..*= it makes them all look like they're 12 years old.

I really love how the bright pink flower contrasts from the other colors in the picture. The color seems to be oozing from the flower. Great Job!

The overall idea of this is wonderful, but I think you really need to work on the anatomy of your bodies. The way they are drawn just makes the whole piece seem a bit awkward and uncomfortable. I also suggest you practice with contrast. Contrast would do wonders for this.

You're right, I'm doing a lot more drawing from like to try and get better at anatomy, trouble is I like choosing interesting poses and angles and it can overpower my actual skills!
