Description
Our own mind; it's a place we can escape to, but we can never escape from. It's the ultimate prison.She sits here and thinks as she plays with her hair, not realising as she twists it round her fingers she's creating her own cage, physically and mentally.
Wanted to design something interesting with the framing and composition, and went with the narrow colour scheme to try and reflect her internal feelings.
I'm trying to worry less, and was thinking about worrying less, then I realised I was worrying about worrying less! Made myself smile XD
The mind is such an intriguing thing, how no one else can read our thoughts, but they influence everything we do. We can imagine whats it's like to be someone else, but never really feel it, we will always be within our own heads, looking out...

Remins me of my childhood, when I would just duck my head like that so that my hair would create a mini-house. It was tiny, but hey, I've always liked closed spaces.

You are right, for some part ... we don't have to escape it ... it's a tool, and one can learn how to use it.
I use this as a mantra "Feel as good as you can right now and keep feeling better" ... it works wonders for me 
Believing that if you feel good, good things will keep on happening to you ... yeah, that's the control you really can have, with just your mind ... the tool that you always have with you
I made an art piece about the mind also, no need to check it out, it's mostly the text that I would like to point out.

The most complex maze you'll ever find
It's impossible to find anyone who doesn't want to be found in there. She'll keep going deeper and deeper, exploring her own self at the same time. The irony is however, the more she learns, the less she knows.
