Description
Our own mind; it's a place we can escape to, but we can never escape from. It's the ultimate prison.She sits here and thinks as she plays with her hair, not realising as she twists it round her fingers she's creating her own cage, physically and mentally.
Wanted to design something interesting with the framing and composition, and went with the narrow colour scheme to try and reflect her internal feelings.
I'm trying to worry less, and was thinking about worrying less, then I realised I was worrying about worrying less! Made myself smile XD
The mind is such an intriguing thing, how no one else can read our thoughts, but they influence everything we do. We can imagine whats it's like to be someone else, but never really feel it, we will always be within our own heads, looking out...

Wow. This is a very intriguing idea!
We're bound by how we think and who we are. However, although we all have "cages" we can define the nature of our cage. A person with a big imagination could have a large cage, enough to let their thoughts go wild or an intellect would have a cage restraining him from understanding things that weren't logical.
Our cage is also our home; it doesn't have to be a prison like cage, but a humble bed or couch or something we go to find comfort and escape, inner peace. Of course, it can be like a jail when we make ourselves worry or feel anxiety about something; we're trapped in our cage of thought, and getting out or changing the cage's nature isn't always an easy task.

Imagine those people without the talent to express such emotions. The ability to draw or sing or write is in itself a chance to communicate with the world outside ourselves. I don't know what I'd do without art. Most people have at least something to work with. But some... I don't know... I think the world would seem somehow less than it is, without them realizing it.

That is actually very true, how we get lost in our own thoughts and somehow cage ourselves in it.
My mind wanders a lot, so it's more like a maze than a cage, and I always have a hard time retracing my steps as I drift from one thought to the next.
