Description
Some interest was shown in the designs of the Syrkian ships. Here is an example of the cockpit of one of their fighters. Here is a link to the full outside view [link] . I had to cut a few parts out and make the canopy invisible, of course, so you could see inside.Once seated inside, the suit is clamped to and connected to the ship. The pilot inside his suit is fully integrated with the ship. Controls function via a combination of mechanical and mental commands and sensor information can be communicated directly to the pilot and/or sent through several screens and hologram displays. The size is small and cramped, allowing very little room for movement other than the pilots arms. His suit is typically clamped down anyway, so he couldn't actually sit up if he had the room to do so.
These small ships do not possess long range capabilities, being limited only to sub-light speeds.

Very cool. Not for the claustrophobic, though, getting clamped down in a small ship like that!
