Duulivai resemble water spirits and look to be about the size of a human children, yet can manipulate water and use it as an extension of their body. They like to inhabit dry places because they can cluster together, form a lake or river, and attract unwary creatures and people to their demise for food. They classify as mid-level Inkyverse creatures, but often band together in groups for both safety and offensive power.

Duulivai are intelligent, and it is said that they will attempt everything from disguise, to persuasion, to brute force, to downright pleading to get other lifeforms to enter their domains and be eaten. Because of their tricky nature, some mortals associate their presence with Gaeliorv, but the two beings have no relation to eachother.
