OMNOMNOMOMNNOMNOMON!!This was made to raise awareness about Net Neutrality. Specifically the fact that cable and telephone companies want to end it.
One of the ideas listed for this event was:
"Depict greedy cable executives trolling the halls of government to wield power against the the netizens of the world"
So I decided to make a far more metaphorical depiction of them eating the concept itself.
Who knows though, in some other parallel universe, this could be the reality.
That's both neat and really, really creepy.

It'd also completely contradict what we as not just DA artists but content creators first signed up for in the first place. We didn't join DA because we were looking to have people pay to look at what we could do artistically. We joined because we had a passion and drive for something we work tirelessly on, some of us for MONTHS on end. You can't buy that kind of enthusiasm from Walmart. It happens to you because you found something you didn't just give a damn about, you almost took it upon yourself to treat it as a child of your own. And the idea that people might have to pay now just to check out everything I've worked YEARS to achieve simply because I wanted people to enjoy it!?Β
It's one more thing that completely fucks me up and gets me wondering why we have to have such asshole licking, stupid as fuck, GREEDY AS SHIT people in power, instead of the kinds of people that SHOULD be, and deserve to be in power. But instead, we have to have people like this, who want to end Net Neutrality.Β
