Far from the glittering lights of the heart of the city, in the shadowed side streets, arteries clogged with decay and despair...that is where those who would prosper on the misfortune of others congregate. Here they make their shady deals, here they trade dollars bought from someone else's pain, blood money.

But in Verdant City the Angels don't walk in the light. They haunt those same shadows bringing aid to the weak and justice to the evil doer. Verdant City is the home of the Cassandra Network, and if you plan to break the law when you pass through remember...they are always watching...
