Description
An important element of the religion of the Yezidis is the presence in it of archangels, whose role is very important. Archangels are the link between people and the Most High. Archangels are executors of the will of the Most High, for this reason, often the religion of the Yezidis (descendants of the Adabi people) is called the "religion of angels". And this name accurately reflects the faith of the Yezidis. The religion of the Yezidis implies faith in the Supreme (Creator) and faith in the seven archangels headed by Azazil (Melek-Taus), depicted in the form of the Peacock Angel. The rest of the archangels are represented in the form of different birds of paradise, but the true appearance of the archangels is certainly not birdlike, just birds have become a symbol of angels, so I pictured them in such a funny form
Each of the archangels designates one color in the seven-colored rainbow, in the Yezidis it is believed that the radiance of God proceeds in the form of a rainbow - the archangels, representing the power, majesty, wisdom and beauty of the Most High.
In Yezidism there are thousands and thousands of angels.
The hierarchy of the world is this: above all is the boundless Divine Spirit, below are the archangels, below are the angels.
Below the angels stand the saints, even lower - the prophets. If the archangels have divine (subtle) bodies, then the angels have slightly more material bodies, while the saints and prophets have human physical bodies.
In Christianity and Islam, the hierarchy is built differently, the prophets and saints are there on an equal footing or even higher than the angels and archangels.
The names of the seven archangels are pronounced in different ways, and it was difficult for me to choose which option was right, so I chose the list, which in my vision seems more accurate. The names of some archangels are sometimes distorted in such a way that it was impossible to understand who it corresponds to in Islam and Christianity, sometimes these names are absent in other sources. Wikipedia gives one list of names on this score, while research books are another list.
But invariably there are four names: Azazil (Melek-Taus), Gabriel, Michael and Raphael.

Here is what is known about the seven angels of Sharfandin:

1. Nurail (perhaps Uriel?) - in Christianity, the angel of light and the guardian of hell. The Yezidis are sometimes replaced or identified with Azrail - an angel taking away the souls of dead people, "the owner of a knife", in Lalish there is a source called "the source of Nasraddin."
2. Gabrail (Gabriel) - is the messenger of God to all the worlds, which conveys the will of God to people and jinn. In Islam, Jibrail (Gabriel) - Ruh al-Quds - holy spirit, blessings, conveys and reveals the will of Allah to the prophets. He gave the text of the Koran to Muhammad. In Christianity, he brought the good news to the Virgin Mary and Joseph.
3. Mikhail (Michael) - the tutor of all messengers and all religious communities and teachings. He is a great teacher, the leader of many ways, the possessor of true knowledge, a connoisseur of the divine pearl, and the conductor of the worlds. In Islam, Mikail is in charge of various blessings, cares for the sustenance of all the creatures of Allah. In Christianity he is the head of the heavenly forces, the archistrategist, the deliverer of evil, and also the angel of mercy.
4. Dardail - he is a teacher, patron of the monastery (abode) on earth and in heaven, patron of men.
5. Shamkail - the possessor of God's seal, is identified with the Sun - "Shams", he also gives God's daily bread and sustenance to people.
6. Israfil/Rafail (or Raphael) - The decision of affairs in his hands, he gives the strength and will to God's messengers, as well as ordinary people. In Christianity Raphael is the deliverer of pain and disease, the expelant of evil.
7. Azazil - Melek-Taus, the lord of all angels and archangels, the messenger of God's throne, on the Earth his place is occupied by Shehadi, who established the canons and ceremonial rituals of the Yezidi religion. Azazil by the will of God created the material world, endowed him with duality. He created Adam's body from clay, whereas God breathed soul into the body through Gabriel.
He leads the straight paths of all the angels and God's messengers, the righteous and ordinary people. He keeps track of all living things. He is the teacher of all scholars and for the Yezidis he is a holy symbol and faith.
By Yazidi, the seven holy archangels are in eternal unity and love for one another and for God. Also, they have male gender.
