Finally! That old BGS that looks more like a longsword than a 2h has been replaced with one that actually looks decent. Made entirely from pine wood, this sword measures 4 feet in length and 7 inches in width at the tip.Related content

Wow that is amazing : very well crafted. Sorry to ask but may i ask for some advice? i've have been making my own kill la kill blade from 12mm thick plywwod but it keeps bending out of shape. D o you know any way to fix it and any way i can stop this happening again? thank you

The trick is to use wood that is flat and straight to begin with. For this one, I actually used a 12" wide, 3/4" thick, 12' long pine board. I've found that it has the same workability as regular plywood, but doesn't splinter and fall apart as easily. Also, it costs the same or less depending on where you get it.
As far as fixing what you have goes, you might try soaking it in water and letting it dry in the shape you want. I haven't tested this myself, though. I have used plywood for projects in the past, but I certainly prefer to stick with solid wood, and pine is lightweight and soft enough to shape easily.
