It's coming along nicely so far. A few minor snags, but nothing that should be a problem. The left side (from this perspective) is bent at the wrong angle, and I'll need to reheat and fix it, but otherwise it's as it should be. The crescent at the top, paint, and other small details are still in the works. And yes, it's mounted on the foam from a bike helmet. =3EDIT: The side of the helm that is bent outwards has been fixed... Now, on to the rest.

Yeah, this stuff works great. You have to double it up to get it thick enough, but it's real easy to work with. I can send you a link, if you want.

You can find it here. I would suggest getting several smaller pieces instead of a big one. It's cheaper

Actually, it's thermoplastic. This particular kind is also known as worbla.
