Here we are at pic 8 and Shantae has finally hit rock bottom. After her sudden departure from Riskys ship, Shantae proceeded to set a record for the longest scream as she flew through the air. After this short, but nerve wracking, flight Shantae finally came crashing down onto an island and landed right smack in a swamp of all places, thankfully rightside up. As her jar prison settled into the sticky morass a still in shock Shantae completely loses it screaming and cursing Risky before finally breaking down in tears. Having finally finished venting Shantae finally gets a limited look at her surroundings and what she sees depresses her even more. She is stuck fast in a sticky morass of quicksand, claymud and tar, surrounded by swamp plants and trees with the sounds of buzzing insects and strange creatures in the air. The smell wasn't all that pleasant either. As the day wore on Shantaes mind was filled with worrisome questions. Where was she? Would anyone ever find her? Would the jar sink deeper into the mire? Would one of those creatures come and bite her head off? As night falls, Shantae listens helplessly to the sounds of the swamp around her. She has never felt so alone, helpless or fearful in her life.
