I've a question, is "plaster of paris" the material that is used to create casts? (for healing broken bones, for example)?

Yes, plaster of paris is used in the making of casts. The doctors use wraping bandages infused with plaster to heal broken limbs.

Yeah, I use a regular plaster of paris that I get from the hobby store, nothing fancy.
