"Are we really testing our drone in the Florida Everglades," Dr. Smith asked.

"Seems like a good idea to me," Dr Dracul answered. "The Everglades aren't too deep so we should be able to collect the drone should anything happen. And yeah, those swamp puppies may have a strong bite, but its a good test. We want our drone to be able to handle the pressures of the deep. It it can't handle the bite of an alligator or a croc, I doubt it will handle the bottom of the Mariana Trench."

"Mm, good point. Still, I know it's a swamp and all, but I didn't think it'd be so..."

"Murky," the two scientists said in unison.

"We're going to have to upgrade the camera. Add a filter feature to the drone while we're at it. The lightning needs to be improved, too," Dr. Smith said.

"Damn, that sounds expensive," Dr. Dracul sighed.

"Hey. We can't afford to be cheap."

"We can't afford to overspend either. That grant isn't infinite, Cor."

"Yeah, I get it, but still. We want our drone to be the best of the best. Spare no necessary expense."

"Yeah, I get it. Hm? Did you see that?"

"See what?"

"I thought I saw something move past the camera."

"Was it an alligator?"

"Nah. Looked bigger."

"Croc?"

"I don't think it was a croc either. Might have been a python."

"Think its a twenty-footer," Dr. Smith asked with a chuckle.

"Heh, Florida gives a bounty of ten grand for the most normal pythons collected at the end of the year. If we get a twenty-footer, they'd definitely give us that amount."

"Now wouldn't that be-SHIT!"

"How would ten grand be-" Devlin looked at the screen. "SHIT!"
