the artwork isn't just surreal by the way the woman and the eggs cannot combine, but also the light that's in the artwork which seems very theatrical the way the eggs seem in a dangerous position as they're floating in mid air but the supposed mother isn't taking care of them or even noticing them
also you see the woman's parts that are exposed to us aren't the stomach or the inguinal ligament, but opposing that - the back side
I think you can make up so many plots from this photograph ^^

It took me a while to figure out too... but that is actually a person curled up there and eggs are either dropping down or being thrown...

Ah! As soon as you said it was a person, it clicked. I thought it was clay or some sort of pillow, but it seemed I was the only one who couldn't figure it out, because the comments were devoid of people wondering about it! Thanks!
