I find it interesting that you cropped the photo to leave in the necklace. Without the face this piece becomes something original and meaningful, but if the necklace wasn't there it would have somehow dampened the meaning. I think in leaving the necklace you have made this into something more powerful and lasting.
When I look at this, to me, I see a woman who has tried to rise above what she was in the past but is haunted by it all the same. This says "some things are inescapable regardless who you become" I find this statement true. Welldone.

The necklace reminds us that she is not an object. The apple is reminding us of the consequence of sin, but only periferally. The most powerful archetype present are the hands reaching, grasping, but not gripping. As infants, the "instinct" to reach out, grasp and pull is elemental (if not essential) to human survival. So the contest is started of which is more potent (sin or survival).

Great composition and concept. Very intelligent expression of emotions.
What is meaningful for me, in this peace of art, is what it communicate. At first sight, we see several hands that intend to reach her body.
But her hands are also present in the same attitude of greed.
What they are trying to reach, is not her body, but the apple - the object of desire. And where is it? Is irremediably lost on the darkness.

I think that without the necklace this shot would be conventional, somehow. A naked woman as an object of rapacious desire -or even envy.
But the necklace holds a great symbolic power, it empowers the woman, it's like a crown on her head. Thanks to the necklace, she's safe from the raptors. Though maybe she will be never safe from herself, her narcissism. Her power is her weakness.
