Awesome style! And I love the relationship between Hawkman and Green Arrow. They trust each other as a team, but they really don't like one another. My favorite Hawkman is Katar Hol.

this is great derek. that hawkman is solid--he seems very sturdy. Just like a hawkman should.
I love how fluid all of these sketches are...i wish i was more comfortable with my lines to go for something like this.

Glad ya like. To me, I can't draw slow (I probably could but then I over render and just become bored). So these pieces come out pretty fast. Sometimes I hit my marks. Usually I do a lot of missing those marks. heh But I guess that's part of the process...not laboring over it and seeing if any happy mistakes occur.
I think I drew these in about 10 minutes each. Basically just a very very rough blueline pencil sketch (nothing that even resembles showing...just a layout of the character on the page and not much else) and then straight to finishing it in ink. Sometimes I labor over the pencils but I get bored fast, so usually I just want to hurry and get to inking. These are the problems of being an inker...and an impatient one at that!
