Description sometimes.
all you're left with is a hunger to survive that you don't understand,...
an unwillingness to give up that borders on religion,...
and the knowledge,...
the belief,...
that you have to keep going.

and the world around you,...
all of it,...
has become a machine that wants nothing more than to stop you.

the only choice you have,...

be more machine.

my sincerest apologies to my friend deep , who created lettering specifically
for this piece, and i couldn't seperate it cleanly enough to apply it.

Damn...so awesome...man. If you could get that letering on there it'd be wicked...perhaps attempt making a border for it or something, with the lettering on the bottom? But naw, that'd take away from the piece a bit. Tell your friend that his words are beautiful.

have you ever read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King? There's a character (who's a train) that this pic reminds me of... I suggest looking into the series, tho... and this is a kickass piece of work, man

That reminds me of Blaine The Mono from the third book of the gunslinger series, The Wastelands the book was called. What i want to know is; was that inspired by Blaine?

Reminds me of Blaine the Mono (that's the name, right?), the psycho train from Stephen King's Dark Tower series. He's in the end of The Wastelands, if I recall correctly.

D, I don't know if you've read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, but the 2nd i saw this piece it reminded me of Blaine the Mono in The Wastelands, which is III in the series. Here is a quote I pulled out that conveys a little of what I feel when I look at your Machine.

Ahead, a vast grilled barrier like a castle barbican swam out of the gloom...and beyond it, they caught their first glimpse of Blaine the Mono. It was pink, just as Eddie had said it would be, a delicate shade which matched the veins running through the marble pillars. Blaine flowed above the wide loading platform in a smooth, streamlined bullet shape which looked more like flesh than metal. Its surface was broken only once - by a triangular window equipped with a huge wiper. Eddie knew there would be another wiper on the other side of the Mono's nose, so that if you looked at Blaine head-on, it would seem to have a face just like Charlie the Choo-Choo. The wipers would look like slyly drooping eyelids.
"Wow." His voice had fallen to a whisper. "We found it."
"Yes. Blaine the Mono."
"Is it dead, do you think? It looks dead."
"It's not. Sleeping maybe, but a long way from dead."

"You sure?"
"Were you sure it would be pink?" The face she turned up to him was strained and badly frightened. "It's sleeping, and you know what? I'm scared to wake it up."

"Come on everybody, let's hitch a ride on the DOOOOOOOOMTRAIN!"

Whelp, it's got cyborgs, horror, and stained paper, what's not to love about it?

Interviewer: "So, I see that, in a mad urge to abandon all that you once were, that you have become an automaton of flesh and steel and materials far crueler, that you may conquer this numbing world with the very forst-tinted steel it torments you with. Tell me, what was the hard part?"
Apoclautomaton: "Really, it was affording the several thousand tons of raw materials. And stretching my face over the cow catcher hurt like hell."
Interviewer: "Fascinating. Now--here's some kittens!"

'Come on baby, eat the rich,
Put the bite on the son of a bitch!'

lol!
i swear i completely forgot about that!
i KNOW i had 'no sleep at all' which had 'eat the rich'
and 'ace of spades' on it. and i'm pretty sure i had
'orgasmatron'. that was during my speed metal years
during the 80s! along with the really good metallica like
'garage days revisited'.
damn man. thanks for reminding me of that.
i had clean forgotton about that cover. doing a search
for it now.
wow.
that IS pretty close.
excellant call man.
makes me wanna dig out my old cassettes now!
thanks!
