Blacksad is one of my favorite comics and I always wanted to see a cartoon based on the book. Got tired of waiting so I did what I thought it might look like on my own. The logo was taken from the Blacksad sketch files so it's not mine, only the illustration. I was inspired by the sketch blog of some friends of mine over at [link] who are doing a Blacksad themed sketch week.Hope you dig!

Blacksad is one of my favs too! Back when the third book wasn't translated in English yet and the company publishing the book in the U.S. had gone under, I actually just went and bought the french version so I could at least look at the art and figure out the narrative on my own.
Thank you Dark Horse for putting Blacksad back out there for the U.S. (although printed in a slightly smaller format HaRUMPH fans are never happy)
