What a nice look he has!
I think a little deeper depth of field might be able to improve the look of the image, so that the eyes would be sharp as well.

Ya!
I wanted to go with f5.6 but that would result in either one eye or nose going out of focus.
Ofc I could rework it on photoshop but I like them unedited (except a bit more saturation).

Oh...with deeper depth of field I meant like F8 or more. What you're describing is shallower depth of field. There's also (usually) the benefit of getting sharper pictures with F8-F11 as that's generally the sweet spot for the lenses. However, it's not with all lenses! Anyway, the shallow depth of field works sometimes great to draw attention to certain part of the picture, nyaa.
Little after work is always nice as long as you don't over do it.

Ah I missread the depht of field thing.
I know what you mean with sweetspot and all that stuff haha
I was just in a hurry
But the goal was to capture the facial expression with focus on eyes+nose , rest was not in my imagination at least, I will try out a pic with f8-f11 to see difference and maybe I can find my sweet spot!
Always a joy getting more info and thanks alot for hte input babe <3

Don't worry about it. We're all just humans(besides me as I'm a kitty, nyaa).
Yeah, not having enough time is not going to make taking pictures any easier. *giggles*
That's what I thought, which is why I mentioned the depth of field. When I look at the picture it appears that the sharpest area is in between the nose and eyes, but as you said you'd want both of them so you need little deeper to gain the look you wanted.
You're welcome. It's nice to help out other whenever I can. It's just too bad that nowadays most people don't seem to be able to take any "critic" as they think it's an insult, which makes me pretty sad.
