It's fun to draw them as children, because we can give them more cuteness and innocence than in the drawings in which they are adult.
Love the teddy bear, and the scratched knees. Aaaawww...
But... we can see in her eyes that she 's not as good girl and cute as she seems first... Don't bother her.

Exactly, she was cute and innocent, what is kinda hard to believe.
She's not a good girl indeed. She really doesn't mind bothering, because she's in her own world where no one else can come.

I think even when somebody says " I don't mind bothering", that is not totally true, we always mind.
BUT I may be wrong about Helga.
It's normal she's in her world, she lost her parents, so she's got to compensate that loss by builing something in her head.

I sympathize. When I was a child other children always bothered me because I was not that normal(I still am not !). To make them leave me alone, I chased them with spiders in my hand. All those lovely and pretty little girls were terrified ! That was my revenge.
