Description This is the classic Trek fan tech reference work for which I'm probably best known to the rest of my fellow Trek fans online.  It was my attempt to update the old Star Trek Space Flight Chronology - whose data and dates are now waaaay out of whack - and bring it back in line with what I felt at the time was the "proper" Trek TOS/TMP era timeline.  That's a revised version of the old Chuck Graham/Geoffery Mandel fan-researched timeline, as opposed to the "official" one by Mike Okuda.  I had, have, and continue to have issues with certain of Mr. Okuda's dates -- but since his is now the "official" timeline, then that's what everybody goes by nowadays.  I'm just glad I got my chance to have my own say on the matter while there was still time.

I should note that in the years that's passed since I wrote this, many fans have taken the dates I gave and "adjusted" them per Okuda's timeline.  I don't have a problem with this.  At one time I was going to do this myself, and rewrite the whole thing -- but other things intervened, and I never got to finish that effort.

BTW, this work also incorporates data from other popular Trek tech and product sources -- such as the old FASA and Star Fleet Battles tabletop games, the Starfleet Command series of videogames, and other such pre-TOS, TOS, and TMP era Trek works and products.  I couldn't include it all, but I tried as hard as I could at the time to hit all of the high points -- and in a way that was consistent with almost everything else.  The fact that folks still use it, and that even today it occasionally pops up in folks' "what's some good classic Tech tech references" list is a matter of some pride with me.

This archive contains three different versions of my Federation Spaceflight Chronology.  The first and largest is the last revision to my original 12-part work -- keyed for a typical semester-long training course for Star Fleet Academy and its various branches.  The format is not unlike the Pro Book I had to come up with during my first year at the U.S. Naval Academy many, many, many moons ago.  The second version has been reduced into a single and more compact volume (mostly by eliminiating the various timeline sections) for easier reference.  The third is the only part of the Okuda-dated version that I ever did.

This is a FREE work, and freely available to all.  You folks are welcome to all three, and please feel free to revise, correct, update, repost, redistribute, and so forth as you see fit.
