Man, this took me so long to color in T_T
I asked my friend if I could help him out with this pic by coloring it in for him, since he's busy with the Magic KP comic, he said yes, and so, viola! ^_^

The four beings you see here he created (he's OCs)
They are Death, Pest, Famine & War.

As to their colors:
Death: tried to keep her colors somber, funerally.
the horned skull helmet she wears I made a dried-up bone color, to make it look fossilized, and I think it came out great
In the background you can see some hourglasses, including a big one right behind her ^^
Pest: Plague, but pretty. Pretty scary, that is XD
I did a juxtapose with her colors, with her human form looking like a nurse/flower, soft and gentle... and then her true form all green (sickly green). Hmm, the hair really looks good next to the green, don't ya think? ^^
Her background has a reddish tint (for measles, fevers, etc.) with little black butterflies flittering about :3
Famine: lol, when I did his body I actually thought he was wearing some kind of bodysuit with just the line of his mouth visible... and then I realised he was grinning XD
The mouths turned out excellent, and I choose the dark blue scheme for his "Void" nature
Bg is a large spiral *stares at it till get dizzy O_o*
War: Military, that's the first thought for his colors that popped into my head ^^
Heh, I wish I had his jacket, it looks really nice
For his bg, lots of little explosions on a dark gritty field, like a battlefield ^_^
