A cover I drew for Shonen Jump's cover contest in 2010.... pretty sure I didn't win, since I never heard anything back yet... and I can't find a December 2010 issue of the magazine anywhere! If anyone has info or picks of the cover contest winning entries, that would be great to see....My favorite character from DBZ is trunks, and fav nintendo character is Link... So naturally I thought it would be a sweet idea to have a super saiyan link and trunks duking it out! I guess you could say neither of them are winning... though both have taken some good hits.. enjoy!
All hand drawn using colored pencils, sharpies, and pens.
Also notice a farting Naruto in the top left corner! Woot woot toot toot!
The character on the top right is Calcol, an OC of mine, you can find a concept sketch of him in the fire emblem folder i have.

This is by far the awesomest Shonen Jump cover I've ever seen, even better than any of Shonen Jump's actual covers!

Thanks a ton man! I entered it into their cover contest last year and never heard back from them. I am wondering if they even got it... :/ But Yeah, I love the whole concept of other characters being able to go super saiyan. I've done a lot of Super Saiyan Kirby, Some Yoshi, and Even Mario and Luigi. haha

Thank you. ha I really appreciate it... I drew this while I was sick for a period of time.. so I would work on it for countless hours a day.. I wish I knew what won... cuz in 2009 the winning entry totally sucked!! I am seriously wondering if they even got my enrty....

Yeah.... ha sorry! I don't mean to make anyone jealous! ha tis just my gift, I guess... It was almost better, drawing when I was sick... I had a lot of time to take it easy, think, and plan.. so I think it actually helped the product turn out better..
