Description Subject of my casting choice now is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, one of my all-time favorite video games.

Mario and Luigi: Okay, you all saw this coming a mile away. To me, Charles will ALWAYS be the voice of Mario and Luigi. Disagree with me...if you DARE.

Bowser: I needed someone who COULD come off as a threat, but also have a comedic moment or two (ala Paper Mario 2 and Superstar Saga). I think Fred Tatasciore could pull this off real well.

Peach: Girly voice to the extreme here. And who better to play a pampered princess than Mimi from "Digimon"?

Yoshi: This is a task that, I think, only Dee Baker can handle. I would use his Remy voice, but not that snooty tone, as the art itself explains.

Donkey Kong: Ah, Kevin, you're so talented and yet so easy to spot in your roles. Anyway, I believe that Kevin can give out a voice that can range from a powerful warrior to a likeable character. Wouldn't you agree?

Diddy Kong: Diddy, in my experience is always so full of energy. And I think that Rob Paulsen has done enough characters like that to say that he's worthy for the role.

Wario: Okay, if I were to guess that a lot of people imagine him doing a role like this, how many would say "yes"?

Mario and Luigi: No argument there
Bowser: I agree to an extent but for Bowser's arrogance i would use Clancy BrownΒ
Peach: I never heard this persons voice so i would choose Tara Strong
Yoshi: Dee would be perfect
Donkey Kong: Agreed but for an alternative i would use Fred Tatascoire's Hulk would do as a substitute
Diddy Kong: Great
Wario: Only Jim Cummings if it were Pete

Overall Great Cast

You're right about Charles Martinet. No one can replace him.

I see Dee using the animal sound effects he usually does if he did Yoshi.

And now that I think of it, Philence Sempler's voice as Mimi totally sounds like Peach!

Maybe Pete would've been the better Wario reference...

I don't know why I didn't think that either. Maybe it was the tone and pitch, maybe it was the mustache, I dunno.

Jim Cummings is my number 1 favorite voie actor of all time (with Vic Mignogna being a close second), and the roles of Pooh, Tigger and Darkwing Duck will always be near and dear to me.
