Not going to learn anything if I just draw cartoons all the time, so here's a fairly standard single layer painting of a boat.~2h
I really wish dA wouldn't ruin the darker areas of the images in the preview.

Yeah, it seems to make them slightly darker. Usually the unzoomed preview will have the correct tones, but the zoomed preview will be darkened.
