Blackwolfoffireworks: this is Alkyd Oil... I find that Acrylics dry too fast to blend properly - although I know that many leading wildlife artist use acrylics with great success.

Acrylic?? Excellent hair details, it looks like indvidual hairs! and the nose really shines. The snow looks so smooth and the lighting is perfect
